Rim Nordic Ski Area is located in the San Bernardino Mountains, on Hwy 18 just 5 miles outside the town of Running Springs, across the street from Snow Valley Mtn. Resort on the way to Big Bear Lake. RN is a member of the Cross Country Ski Areas Association where you can find additional information about cross country skiing www.xcski.org.
In the winter, snow permitting, RN offers a groomed trail system for cross country skiing with tracks set for classic skiing as well as skating lanes. Snowshoeing available, as well.
Rentals for cross country skiing & snowshoeing are available on site. Lessons are available for cross country skiing and a small retail shop with snacks inside. NO DOGS ALLOWED ON THE TRAILS DURING THE WINTER.
In the summer months, Rim Nordic is open weekends only for mountain bike riding from Memorial Day weekend thru Labor Day weekend. RN hosts mountain biking events & trail runs. Please check its website for additional information and schedules.
